Our Trust & Safety team has recently reviewed your account.
We found that you agreed to take the relationship or payment outside of Upwork. Unfortunately this is against Upwork’s Terms of Service.
Taking relationships and payments outside of Upwork is a serious violation of Upwork’s Terms of Service. As part of using Upwork, you agreed to use the Upwork platform for contracts and payments for all work done between you and others you found on Upwork for a minimum of two (2) years from the time you first worked with them.
Using Upwork for your contracts and payments also means you are able to receive payment protection and dispute assistance in case something happens. If you would like to take the relationship outside of Upwork before two (2) years, you or the other party can pay the applicable conversion fee, which is outlined in detail in Upwork's User Agreement. We’ve placed restrictions on your account until we can get this sorted out together. While restricted, you will not be able to submit proposals or start any contracts What’s next?
